Superworms are a healthy and a valuable source of protein. They are crunchy and taste a little like almonds; if you’re new to entomophagy this would be a good insect to start with.

Our superworms are raised on farms; they are fed on oatmeal, whole wheat bread, greens and other vegetables. We buy the superworms fresh at source; they are then cleaned, boiled and then dehydrated to lock in nutrients. After they are fully dehydrated we season them with salt and pack them in cans with moisture and oxygen absorbers. This keeps them fresh for 1 year or longer.

Each can contain 15 grams of dried superworms. Each worm weighs approximately 0.5grams after dehydration.

Cooking instructions: Our super worms are cooked and ready to eat, you can eat the whole worms straight from the bag, or you can add them to other foods, for example pizza toppings, or replace croutons in salad with them. There are many possibilities.
