Canned Edible Bamboo Worms (Omphisa fuscidentalis)

Bamboo Worms (Omphisa fuscidentalis) are a delicious high protein larvae snack, they are also high in fiber and vitamin B12. Bamboo worms are a popular snack in Thailand and are enjoyed by people nationwide. Their taste and texture is similar to corn puff snacks, however bamboo worms are healthier. Bamboo worms are the larvae of Omphisa fuscidentalis moths which feed on flowering bamboo trees. They are collected from farmed bamboo trees during the end of the rain season.

We buy our bamboo worms from reputable insect suppliers. We process them by quick freezing, cleaning and then shallow fry and finally seasoning.
